So, how can I get cupcakes?

IWe welcome special and catering orders (Minimum order must be 1 dozen). For any questions, please contact us by email sweets@sweetsbyalexandria.com or by using our Contact form on our website. If you are using the Contact form on our website, please be sure to use a valid email address as we have no way of contacting you, otherwise. If you are a student or faculty member at North Carolina A&T, come see us in Elements!

Do your cupcakes and cakes freeze well?

Alexandria’s cupcakes and cakes freeze beautifully for up to 1 week. We do not recommend refrigerating our cakes or refreezing after thawing once.

How do you ship your cupcakes?

We ship our cupcakes in a box with a cold pack so they will stay cool during shipping. We only ship Monday through Wednesday. We don't want the package to get held up in a warehouse during the weekend.

Where do you bake the cupcakes?

Alexandria and her mother, Anna, bake at a certified kitchen in Durham, NC.

What sets Sweets by Alexandria apart from the  competition?

We offer the best taste, quality, and experience in town.

How long can I expect my cupcakes to stay fresh?

Your cupcake will stay moist for up to 2 days. We recommend that you store it at room temperature in an airtight container. For longer storage times, simply freeze your cupcake and thaw at room temperature.

Are your cupcakes vegan or gluten free?

The cupcakes are not vegan or gluten free unless otherwise stated.

Do you bake your desserts from scratch?

Every dessert is baked from scratch (meaning from the beginning). I never use commercial mixes of any kind and never will!

What is your privacy policy regarding  ordering?

Sweets by Alexandria respects and protects your privacy. We do not trade, rent or sell our customer database information. We do share with third parties (ie, UPS, FedEx, etc.) the address level information you provide us only for purposes of delivering your cakes.
